Rocky Mountain Black Car was founded by a Vail local who knew there was a better way to move through the mountains. After more than a decade working in Colorado’s luxury hospitality industry, our founder set out to create a car service that matched the standard guests expected from the valley’s finest hotels and resorts — but had never quite found on the road.
We started with one vehicle and one principle: that every journey matters. Whether a guest is arriving from Denver International Airport at midnight in a January snowstorm or heading from a Beaver Creek chalet to an Aspen lunch meeting, the quality of service should never waver.
Today we operate a curated fleet of late-model, AWD vehicles and employ a small team of professional drivers who know every mountain road in Eagle County. We remain locally owned, personally managed, and deeply proud of what we’ve built here in the Vail Valley.
We treat your time as the non-negotiable it is. Every pickup is staged early, every flight is tracked in real time, and every driver departs with margin built in.
Mountain roads in winter demand experience and the right equipment. All vehicles run Blizzak winter tires every season, and our drivers are trained and tested on Colorado alpine conditions.

Your driver will be on site before your pickup time. We build in buffer for every booking and track conditions in real time so that we absorb delays — not you.
Every vehicle is detailed before each trip. You will never step into a vehicle that hasn't been cleaned, restocked, and inspected since its last booking.
